The Opportunity:
The Housekeeping Aide is primarily responsible for assigned cleaning duties in accordance with established work schedules, policies, and procedures.
What Is In It For You:
Resident room cleaning procedure
Wash or sanitize hands and put on gloves.Take microfiber cloth moistened with Saber from bucket on cart folded in 4 to make a square.Wipe down kitchenette, light switches, doorknob, TV remotes and phones.Dust lamp shades, lights and door ledges with duster.Spray furniture polish onto a clean cloth and clean furniture.Pickup garbage and dispose into garbage bag on cart.Remove gloves and wash hands.Vacuum carpet (gloves optional).Bathroom cleaning procedure:
Wash hands and put on gloves.Spray sink & toilet with bowl cleaner and put spray bottle back onto housekeeping cart.Empty garbage, restock toilet paper.Clean mirror with saber cloth and then dry cloth.Fold microfiber cloth in 4.Wipe taps, sink, doorknob, light switch, shower stall, and any spots on the wall.Wipe the toilet seat.Discard cloth into laundry bag.Remove gloves and wash hands.Wet mop washroom floor.When room cleaning is completed wipe own mop handles, bottles and the entire cart and proceed to the next room. This procedure needs to be completed after each room.
