Position Purpose
\n\n\nThe Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall guest experience within the hotel. As a key part of the Housekeeping team, the Attendant ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality and hygiene, ensuring guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Duties & Key Responsibilities
\n\n\nRoom Cleaning:
\n\n\n\n\nClean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReplenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and other amenities.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnsure that all equipment and furniture are maintained and in good condition.
\n\n\n\n\nPublic Area Maintenance:
\n\n\n\n\nClean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnsure that all public areas are presentable and always inviting.
\n\n\n\n\nLaundry Duties:
\n\n\n\n\nCollect, sort, and deliver laundry and linens as needed.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnsure all linens and towels are clean, fresh, and properly stored.
\n\n\n\n\nGuest Service:
\n\n\n\n\nRespond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssist guests with special needs or requests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
\n\n\n\n\nInventory Management:
\n\n\n\n\nMonitor and report any shortages of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other room amenities.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssist in maintaining an organized inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
\n\n\n\n\nSafety and Security:
\n\n\n\n\nFollow all safety and security procedures, including adequately handling chemicals and equipment.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReport any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
\n\n\n\n\nTeam Collaboration:
\n\n\n\n\nWork closely with other housekeeping staff and hotel departments to ensure a smooth operation.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRequirements
\n\n\n\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGood organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPhysical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
