We have accommodation options available and can also accommodate couples or small groups if everyone has hospitality experience. Our seasonal teams are fun and made up of a diverse mix of people of all ages and nationalities.
This position will start in October/November 2024 and continue through the summer season until April 2025
About us:Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, a luxury hotel in the Bay of Islands where you can discover the beauty of panoramic views across the untouched coastline and deep blue ocean.
Sophisticated and elegant, Rosewood Kauri Cliffs glows in morning light as the sun rises to reveal panoramic views across the Pacific. Resting on an unspoilt coastline where high cliffs nestle into three pristine private beaches, you can have a true New Zealand experience in beautiful Northland. What you will do:We take pride in the presentation and cleanliness of our beautiful property. Our Housekeeping Associates have an important role when it comes to creating memorable experiences for our guests.
The duties include:Cleaning of rooms, including making beds, replacing linen, disinfecting surfaces, and vacuuming.Cleaning and tidying of public areas, including the lobby and public toilets.Re-stocking supplies, including linen and cleaning supplies.Other cleaning duties including cleaning of carpets, upholstered furniture, and polishing furniture.Taking pride in the appearance of the property.What you will bring:
A passion for service delivery and the hospitality industry Cleaning experience, ideally in a 4/5 star Hotel/Resort environmentStrong communication skillsA high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skillsFlexibility - able to work shifts, including weekends What we offer:We offer competitive wages, delicious staff lunches and access to our Staff Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our suppliers and partners. In addition, we endeavour whenever possible to provide staff with 2 days in a row off each week.
Due our private and remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport. You will also need a valid working holiday visa or New Zealand work rights to apply.
