To clean all public guest room areas of the hotel as assigned. To promote good public relations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, in accordance with the company’s personal appearance standardsConsistently maintains a friendly positive attitude that ensures positive guest experience and giving recognition to returning guests.Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by the Housekeeping DepartmentFollows proper etiquette when communicating over the radioRespond, follow and close HotSOS and other requests when assigned to them by the proper usage of Rexx/ radioResponsible for helping room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from housekeeping cartsHelp maintain the following areas at all times: public rest rooms, hotel lobby levels, ashtrays , elevators and tracks, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrance and hallwaysHandle guests with excellent guest relations skillsClean back-of-the-house windows as neededVacuum guest hallways dailyUse proper chemicals when cleaning as described by the department’s proceduresAttend all departmental meetings as scheduledPerform all duties in a timely and efficient mannerMaintain linen closets clean, stock and organizeBring trash to compactor at the end of the dayResponsible for washing guest room glassware and delivered to linen closetsResponsible for bringing dirty glassware to housekeeping at the end of the shiftPerform all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with the policies and procedures of the companyNotifies immediate supervisors promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significanceIs polite, friendly, and helpful to the guests, management, and fellow team membersAttends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessionsMaintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment, and work areaExecutes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standardsComplies with safety regulations and proceduresComplies with hotel policies and rulesRecycles whenever possibleRemains current with hotel information and changesSupportive Functions and Responsibilities

Previous experience an assetAble to work as part of a dynamic quality-driven teamBasic English language skillsRequires extensive standing, walking, lifting and bendingAble to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 150 pounds repetitively during entire shiftAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysMust be customer-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skillsPhysical Demands
