Housekeeping Manager

A Housekeeping Manager is responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nManage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms\nEnsure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner.\nManage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.\nAssist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.\nOversee and conduct room inspections.\nRecruit, interview and train team members\nPrepare payroll, update supplies and inventories and make purchases, and administer department's budget.\n\n

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to prove or show the following requisites:

\n\nBachelor's degree in a business-related field, highly recommended\n5 - 10 years of experience in a similar role within the same industry or an industrial maintenance facility, required\n5 - 7 years of supervisory experience, required\nAbility to read, write and communicate in English\nStrong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service\nSkilled in mathematics to prepare payroll, inventory supplies and administer budgets\nExcellent problem solving and project management skills\nProficient in computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products\nAvailable to cover extended shifts and work any days of the week (including holidays and weekends) \n\n
