Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Overview:

The exclusive Shell Bay Club is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations across our luxurious property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-end hospitality environments and understand the level of excellence required to meet the expectations of an elite membership.

Key Responsibilities:

  Oversee and manage all housekeeping and laundry operations for the entire property, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment.   Lead, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping and laundry staff to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service.   Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures tailored to the unique needs of an exclusive private club.   Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, amenities, and back-of-house facilities to ensure consistency and attention to detail.   Manage inventory and procurement of housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment while adhering to budgetary guidelines.   Address member and guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.   Collaborate with other departments to support special events, guest stays, and other operational needs.   Uphold and enforce safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with health and safety regulations.   Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with members and guests.

Qualifications:

  Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a luxury hospitality, private club, or high-end residential setting.   Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.   Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on member and guest satisfaction.   Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory control.   Familiarity with the standards and expectations of an exclusive, upscale clientele.   Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.   Physical ability to perform inspections and assist with operations as required.
