Job Description

The role of the Housekeeping Office Coordinator is to Coordinate the work assignments for housekeeping staff including but not limited to room attendants, housemen, seamstress and turndown attendants, each day and answering guest and associate calls and dispatching work tickets appropriately. Responsible for the day-to-day office operations for the housekeeping department.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

 Respond to all phone calls/requests from guests and other departments.Maintain clear and efficient communication with internal departments Maintain schedule and communication of external departments Track Guest and Group Medallia/NPS Scores Maintain Key Inventory Monitor Supply Inventory Oversee Ordering Supplies for the Department Maintain and Balance Department Checkbook Monitor computer system, PMS, productivity reportOversee housekeeping reports and checklists Knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.

 

Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only):

Strong visual attention to detail, sense of urgency. Able to sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20-30 pounds, without assistance. Qualifications

Qualifications:

 Applicant must have an Associate/Bachelor’s Degree.Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must possess advanced computer skills and use Microsoft Office products Ability to work and perform effectively in a fast-paced role and environment.Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to build relationships and communicate with all shifts and departments.Able to work well with leadership.Previous experience in housekeeping is strongly preferred, not required.Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays.
