\n\n\nShift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
\n\n\nPay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $23-$24 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
\n\nThe ideal candidate will be able to carry out all tasks with high attention to detail. The payroll clerk needs to be highly organized and possess excellent math skills. Should be able to answer all questions regarding payroll discrepancies. Maintain all payroll records and preparing end of week payroll reports. Additionally, answering the phone and assisting the Coordinators in the office with updating guest rooms when needed. Handle all payroll related functions from daily edits to finalizing daily payroll. Input schedules in Unifocus and monitor vacation/sick pay. Formulate spread sheets for payroll department of daily incentives per the CBA. Work handled daily should be kept confidential and maintained according to Hilton’s payroll regulations.
\n\nIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
\n\nRespond to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction and information as requested. \nReport all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to safety/security department. \nDaily payroll edits\nReview Daily attestations\nInput incentives\nProcess new hires/terminations\nAnswer all questions from Team Members re pay check accuracies\nHandle the quarterly vacation bid process\nOther duties as assigned such as but not limited to dispatchers job duties\n\nQualifications:
\n\nKnowledge of Computer applications to create reports.( Excel/Word/Outlook) \nAbility to read and write basic English in order to complete forms such as a room status report, detailed written pass on log and work ticket requests and assign written special assignments. \nAbility to lift 40 pounds, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy cleaning equipment, and stand for extended periods of time. (Lifting may also include furniture weighing up to 100lbs.) \nAbility to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to Floor Staff\nAbility to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. \nAbility to exercise professional judgment, decision-making and implement professional control over the performance and conduct of subordinates. \nAbility to walk and climb stairs. \n\n
