**Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor**
**Job Description**
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 15-20 housekeepers at the tech center. This role involves overseeing general housekeeping duties, including floor scrubbing, restroom cleaning, office maintenance, and trash management. The supervisor will manage and hold the team accountable while addressing any issues with the union. This position operates on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with some flexibility required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise a team of 15-20 housekeepers.
+ Oversee general housekeeping tasks, including floor scrubbing, restroom cleaning, office maintenance, and trash management.
+ Manage one or more buildings on campus depending on size.
+ Hold team members accountable and address any issues with the union.
+ Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
+ Coach and train team members, ensuring compliance with union standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of janitorial or housekeeping supervision within a manufacturing environment of UAW personnel.
+ Experience operating and troubleshooting equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
+ Strong leadership and management skills.
+ Ability to navigate Microsoft Office, use email, teams, and data entry.
+ Experience in coaching and training team members.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to create spreadsheets.
+ Union experience within a hospital or other union setting for janitors or housekeepers.

**Work Environment**
The role is based at a large tech center campus with 50 buildings. The work environment involves managing housekeeping tasks across various buildings and ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard. The position is on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM, requiring some flexibility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
