Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee a team of 15-20 housekeepers at a large tech center campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general housekeeping duties, including floor scrubbing, restroom and office cleaning, and trash disposal. The role involves managing one or multiple buildings, ensuring team accountability, and addressing union-related issues.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of 15-20 housekeepers.Oversee general housekeeping tasks including floor scrubbing, restroom cleaning, office cleaning, and trash disposal.Manage and hold the team accountable for their performance.Address and resolve issues with the union.Operate and troubleshoot housekeeping equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners.Coach and train team members to meet union standards.Perform disciplinary actions and ensure proper supervision and facilities maintenance.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in Janitorial or Housekeeping Supervision within a manufacturing environment of UAW personnel.Leadership and management skills.Experience with equipment operation and troubleshooting (floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners).Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.Ability to coach, train, and hold team members accountable to union standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong leadership and disciplinary skills.Experience in facilities maintenance and sanitation.Ability to work on a flexible 2nd shift schedule (2:30 PM - 12:00 AM).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is at a large tech center campus with 50 buildings. This role operates on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Flexibility in shift timing is preferred.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
