Daily travel is required between locations (locations are all within a 1-mile radius). Daily interaction with customers and customer services. Hourly payroll and attendance. Ensure compliance with plant rules and policies. Supervision of all day-to-day housekeeping activities. Maintain daily housekeeping schedules as well as special customer requests. Assist with defining and supporting departmental objectives. Respond to and resolve any facility needs during shift, including maintenance and laborer operations. Track the performance of the housekeeping team working closely with audit team. Responsible for controlling spending to maintain housekeeping budgets. Make sure all training needs are met and ensure completion of training requirements for all employees, including all required safety training. Attend daily meetings to determine prioritization and provide input on current activities. Resolve personnel issues at the first level whenever possible. Utilize the discipline process as appropriate. Attend and participate in select WPS projects as required.Hours of Work 2nd shift 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. Monday – Friday; some overtime required. On call per WPS schedule rotation Some weekend coverage as required.
Projects involved with:
Member of Interview Team that selects workforce Planning and scheduling of customer special requests outside of daily requirements. Maintain all housekeeping equipment and oversee ordering of supplies and parts. Support special event activities as required.
Experiences/Education - Required
BS/BA degree, technical/engineering preferred Good interpersonal skills Organizational/planning skills Good communication skills Computer skills (Microsoft Office minimum) Desired & Soft Skills Previous supervisory experience in a union environment 5+ years working in a facilities/plant/manufacturing environment Hands-on style Corning specific union/management knowledge Knowledge of CMMS Maximo System Knowledge of Kronos payroll systems, True Blue Ability to communicate across all levels of payroll.

The range for this position is $82,426.00 - $113,337.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
