23.50 USD HourlyControl and manage all aspects of the housekeeping function at National Park Inn to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. Supervise Housekeeping staff to ensure tasks are completed in safe and efficient manner.Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor, problem solve, and direct workers to ensure efficient and safe completion of all housekeeping tasks dailyTrain and on-board new staff on safety and proceduresCommunicate regularly and professionally with numerous people including General Manager, Location Manager, and Front Desk personnel to ensure efficient completion of rooms and smooth rotation of linens and supplies.Attend and participate in management and safety meetingsManage staff appropriately to enforce standards and minimize personnel conflictsManage cleaning supplies inventories and organization of Housekeeping storage areas.Performs such other related duties as directed or requiredSKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferredSix months housekeeping supervision experience required.Basic computer knowledge and ability including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, ExcelPhysical and Mental Requirements
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environmentLift, carry, and push up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-30 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionallyAble to stand for extended periodsClimb steps regularlySpeech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in EnglishPhysical presence at the job site is essential to perform job dutiesEquipment Used
