JOB SUMMARY

 The Housekeeping Supervisor executes and oversees all housekeeping operations across the entire campus. They are responsible in maintaining healthy, clean, and sanitized housing/restroom facilities for campers, staff, and guests.  The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for oversight of all housekeeping duties, conducting routine audits, and performing training of new staff.   
In addition, the Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of all supplies, equipment and submitting order requests to maintain inventory.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Ensure housekeeping services are executed to Woodward standards as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures    

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments    

Implement high quality cleaning and sanitation across the entire Woodward campus     

Upkeep camper cabins and guest lodging areas    

Execute routine and intermittent cleaning and sanitation for all restrooms and housing facilities    

Provide housekeeping duties including changing sheets, changing, and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging guest lodging areas    

Perform weekly inventories and update master inventory for ordering purposes   

Other duties as assigned  

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:  

Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact, and in person    

Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines   

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly   

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:  

Experience in housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning operations preferred   

High school degree or equivalent preferred    

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

+/- 10 Employees  

SCHEDULE INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:  

Seasonal position. Preferred Pre-Camp Availability starting May 5th, and 9-week commitment during Summer Camp season. Potential of extending into post summer camp.

As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.  

Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.  

Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines  

Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
