The DoubleTree San Jose is currently hiring for Part-Time Housekeeping Supervisor!

Surrounded by the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west and the foothills of San Jose to the east, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose boasts a location vibrant with beauty and rich with culture, history, and diversity. Convenient located, less than a half-mile from San Jose International Airport and 45 minutes from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This property offers 505 guest rooms, 48,000 sq. ft. meeting space and four food and beverage outlets.

\n\nClassification:  Part-Time\nSchedule:  Open availability (shift varies)\nPay rate:  $22.84 for the first 90 days and $28.55 thereafter\n\n

The ideal candidate will have one year of customer service experience, with hospitality experience preferred, and at least six months of supervisory experience. Proficiency in computer skills, high energy, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish are preferred.

What will I be doing?

\n

 

\n

A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n

 

\n\nLead, train and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards\nAssess inventory of, assign for cleaning and inspect rooms\nVerify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms\nMonitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories\nCommunicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas\nPerform Room Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed\nAssist in performance evaluations of Room Attendants and Housepersons, as needed\nRespond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\n\n
