Job Overview:
The Housekeeping Worker cleans hospital patient s rooms, baths, and laboratories. They clean offices, halls, and other areas as assigned. They are responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

High School diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read and understand minimal English due to patient contact and chemical contact is preferredHousekeeping experience preferredScheduling Requirements:
7:00am-3:30pmRotating weekends and holidaysPer DiemEssential Functions:
Bathroom cleaning. Showers, sinks, spills, toilets, and floorsCleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areasDemonstrates clear customer focus, internal and external through appropriate interpersonal skillsDistributes laundered articles and linensEmpty and clean wastebaskets, and replace with fresh linersDemonstrates initiative in providing enhanced service to both internal and external customersEstablishes sanitary and/or sterile conditions by following the specific cleaning procedures outlines by the departmentFloor dusting or carpet cleaningKeeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly conditionReplaces soiled drapes and cubicle curtainsUnderstands and applies safe work practicesVacuum carpets and dust floorsWash beds and mattresses, remake beds after dismissal or patientsAdditional Information:
