JOB SUMMARY: The Banquets Houseperson is responsible for banquet room set up and equipment used in set up. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Maintains equipment and parts of equipment to meet business demands. Maintain and operate A.V. equipment. Work well with sales and clients to set up adequate banquet accommodations. Is actively involved in completion of daily tasks. Acts immediately on guest request to ensure corrections are made to guest specifications. Keeps area clean and maintained. Reports any repair needs immediately. Acts as role model for other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars, encouraging others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

High school graduate or GED is required.     Must read, write, and speak English. Able to lift and carry fifty pounds minimum. Good customer service, communication, team building, and problem solving skills. Mechanical skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and perform multiple tasks at once.

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: 

Must foster a positive and supportive work environment. Maintains a neat, clean, organized and safe work environment for guests and employees. Adheres to all uniform and appearance standards.
