Overview We're looking for a dedicated, hard-working Houseperson who will be responsible for assisting room attendants and responding to guest calls. Must have excellent customer service skills. Qualifications • Preferably 6 months experience in cleaning or janitorial related field • Wear uniform per hotel standards; adhere to professional grooming standards • Clean common areas per hotel standards and hotel provided training • Straighten furniture • Empty trash and recycling bins in all public spaces • Check stairwells for debris and trash • Ensure all equipment in fitness room is clean and functional • Wipe down surfaces and clean microwave in employee break area • Engage every guest in conversation and recognition • Resolve any guest issue immediately • Promote the hotel by demonstrating high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests • Ability to anticipate guests needs • Represents the hotel to the guest throughout any stage of the guest's stay • Embraces and respects diversity and multicultural environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Skills • At least average oral communication • Requires walking and repetitive motions, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pound
