SUMMARY
The Houseperson is called upon to respond to requests from both Guest Services and Housekeeping. The Houseperson must be very organized, ready to respond with short notice, and able to prioritize tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Residence Club / Residences Patios:

Maintaining the overall cleanliness.
  Arrange Furniture correctly and keep cushions clean and in good condition.
  Sweep when necessary.
 

Residence Club / Residences:

Sweep outside the front door daily.
  Assist housekeeping with stripping linen and garbage.
  Do Turn Down Service when necessary.
  Assist guests in any way necessary.
 

Stocking supplies:

Keep Housekeeping closets stocked with amenities and cleaning supplies.
  Alert supervisor of shortages for re-order.
 

Linens:

Deliver dirty linens after being pulled from units.
  Help wash, dry, fold and re-stock towels as needed between deliveries.

Trailhead/Clubhouse:

Empty trash cans and replace liners, pick-up trash around pool area
  Restock pool towels and bath towels and take wet towels to housekeeping. Replace linen bags.
  Ensure all furniture is in its proper place.
  Maintain bathroom and locker rooms. Keep stocked and clean.

 Lodge:

Keep the staircase clean
  Keep the hallways clean
  Keep the elevator clean
  Keep the common area clean
 

Guest Contact:

Maintain a respectful, friendly and helpful attitude when meeting or greeting any members or guests of members.
  Assist when necessary in arrivals / departures or other guests’ needs.
  Using guest’s name is mandatory.
 

General:

Ability to work as part of a team.
  Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Be flexible in days and hours.
  Manages workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner.
  Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  Regular and reliable attendance.
  Maintains a professional standard at Pronghorn including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
  Supports and adheres to the CORE Values (ie. “The T.R.I.P.”), Service Fundamentals, and Guest Service Philosophy as defined by the Company.
  Participate in and support company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Pronghorn program.
  Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  Must be able to read and understand written and oral instructions.
  Must be able to comprehend topics of a conceptual nature.
  2 or more years of housekeeping experience is a plus.
 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Will range from 100% inside to outdoor relocation between buildings.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is required several times in a day to stand; walk; climb stairs or ladders; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally may be needed to lift 50+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth of perception, ability to adjust focus.
