Position Summary

The Housing and Childcare Program Coordinator supports the Vice President of Housing and Childcare in the conceptualization and realization of programs and initiatives in Aspen One’s employee housing and childcare functions. With guidance directly from the VP of Housing and Childcare and in coordination with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and others, duties will include: coordination of allocation processes, internal/external communications of the housing and childcare team efforts, growth of the Tenants for Turns program, childcare employee support efforts, and other programs aimed at creating greater efficiency within the operations of AO’s existing housing and childcare efforts. This position reports to the VP of Housing and Childcare.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

Report to, participate in, support and work productively with Aspen One’s employee housing and childcare teamExcel at working within a diverse team, task organization, self-direction, direct communication with employees, and administrative processesCollaborate and support in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external audiences at the direction of the VP of Housing and ChildcareAssist the VP of Housing and Communications team on developing and providing employee educational materials for housing and childcare assistanceAssist the entire housing team as necessary to administer leases, assist in the seasonal move-in and move-out process, organize land use applications, and research programs and best practicesAssist in the streamlining and implementation of the allocation process for long-term unitsSchedule and coordinate monthly housing team meetings and childcare working group meetingsAssist in the development of the new childcare subsidy program, including research and administrationAssist Talent Acquisition and VP of Housing with streamlining the existing Tenants for Turns (T4T) program and implementation of a new year-round T4T programPrepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents to report on progress of all housing and childcare programsAssist with yearly reports and surveys including but not limited to annual gap analysis, housing and childcare annual report, annual housing and childcare surveyOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Administrative Services, Real Estate, Planning or similar preferredMinimum 3 years’ experience in administration, business services, real estate, office coordinator, or related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office and Google product suites requiredProficient knowledge using a property management software; or the keen ability to learn oneProficient in English both verbal and writtenPreferred knowledge of other languages, specifically SpanishExcellent research, writing, and overall organizational skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent interpersonal skills Excellent verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively & effectively with team members and stakeholders across the businessAbility to handle confidential informationAbility to be on a computer and phone a majority of the workdayAbility to solve complex situations and scenarios

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift, executing repetitive movements. No adverse or hazardous conditionsNot required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
