Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Housing Desk Attendant.
The Housing Desk Attendant is responsible for providing residents and guests with friendly and outstanding customer service through daily interactions; serves as the primary contact for residents and guests for any issues that may arise in the residence building
Job Responsibilities:
Provides information to residents and guests by responding inquiries regarding the building apartment repairs and other services that may be required Greets residents and visitors as they enter and exit the building Assists residents and visitors entering and exiting the building as necessary Answers the telephone responds to inquiries and requests from residents and guests Registers guests and obtains information and signatures as guests check in to the building Conveys information to residents and guests by receiving and transmitting messages mail facsimiles packages dry cleaning and other Maintains records of front desk while providing all residents and guests with outstanding customer service Assists with the enforcement of non smoking regulations Maintains appropriate decorum and courteous manner at all times Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency and 6 months relevant experience Demonstrated customer service skills Requires excellent organizational and verbal communication skills Requires ability to multi task operate basic office equipment and maintain recordsPreferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to work well with others Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasmQualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,137.66 – $58,137.66 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
