HOUSING MANAGER
Summary You will serve as a Regional Housing Program Director (RPD) in the Housing Program Department of COMNAVREG SE JAX. Responsibilities You will advise management on housing issues and concerns in order to provide suitable resolutions that comply with governing housing regulations and procedures. You will analyze current and past housing program operations and maintenance expenditures to determine long term resource requirements. You will allocate resources for expenditures of facility projects to ensure efficient use of resources. You will develop documentation and criteria to substantiate cost or negotiation positions related to housing programs. You will advise the housing program manager of potential problem areas to recommend courses of actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:1) Developing, interpreting and implementing housing policy, program management oversight and administration of housing activities for a government-owned, leased, rented and/or Public Private Venture (PPV) Family Housing; 2) Developing and establishing directives, implementing principle guidelines for housing management activities, developing and managing business practices, initiatives and programs for a region of housing offices; 3) Developing and defending budgets; preparing, maintaining and implementing budget and execution plans for a housing business entity to ensure proper negotiations or commitment of government funds ; 4) Managing and directing housing management related work of subordinate personnel at multiple locations; 5) Conducting regular or periodic audits or studies, and evaluating results to assess accomplishment of program requirements; and 6) Demonstrating the ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
