Our client is seeking a Housing & Relations Support Worker (Moccasin Pathways) to join their team. As a Housing & Relations Support Worker, you will be part of the support services team, helping families transition from homelessness to independent housing. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to cultural sensitivity, and a passion for community service, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Housing & Relations Support Worker (Moccasin Pathways)
**Location:** Calgary, AB
**Job Description:**
+ Provide ongoing support to a caseload of up to 10 families as they exit homelessness.
+ Assist families in securing housing and establishing initial income through various support programs.
+ Develop and implement individualized case plans to help families overcome barriers to housing stability.
+ Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with clients to provide advocacy and systems navigation support.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure effective case management.
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience working with Indigenous communities and a strong network of relationships in the Indigenous community.
+ Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, worldviews, and history.
+ Completion of a diploma or degree program related to social work, family case management, or human services is preferred.
+ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Current First Aid/CPR and Suicide Intervention Certification.
