This position requires newly hired Customer Care and Sales Representatives to work in our office located at 10720 W Sam Houston Pkwy N Houston, TX 77064.

Make money moves with Asurion! $18 per hour is the minimum hourly pay. After training you will move to a Pay Per Experience model where you will get paid for each completed conversation with a customer. Our top experts make up to $33+/hour. During offline hours (meetings and coaching) you will be paid at an Hourly Rate of $18/hour.


Base pay is guaranteed and paid bi-weekly + early access to earned pay, now available

As a Customer Care and Sales Representative, you will maintain exceptional customer service while providing support for customers’ inquiries about lost or damaged devices and resolving customer issues. You will also be responsible for selling our Connected Home product and other offerings to customers on every call. You will engage with the customer to understand their technology and sell protection/tech support solutions. You will Serve, Solve and Sell!

As a Customer Care and Sales Representative, here’s what you can expect to do:

Evaluate and assist with customer concernsSell Asurion smart home and other products on every callExplain device capabilities, wireless carrier data product offerings and company policiesMeet goals and grow from feedback and coachingWhen needed, escalate calls to the appropriate tier of customer service function

Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:

High school diploma or equivalentCustomer service experience (minimum of 6 months customer service experience)Ability to retain knowledge- Learns and memorizes product information and customer informationAttention to Details - Provides care and attention to every customer issue.Friendly, Professional, Respectful – Projects a warm and friendly demeanor, exhibits professionalism and respect. Skilled in politely addressing customers, showing patience and empathy in resolving customer concernsFlexible - Ability to meet the needs of each customer, adapting and flexing to customer needs and business needs, accordinglyOrganization – Multitasks with speed and accuracyProblem Solving – Ability to efficiently resolve issues and meet customer expectations while maintaining a standard of quality customer serviceDedication- Reliable track record in attendance and performance and work historySales Aptitude- Energy and Enthusiasm for selling to customersAbility to spend 4-8 hours per day sitting and working at a computer in a call center environment (noise levels, using headset 90% of the time)Computer literacy (type 25-35 words per minute and learn call center software)A passing hiring assessment (soft skill scenario modeling and product knowledge)Working knowledge of (or ability to learn) multiple hardware platforms and operating systems (Windows, Android, Blackberry OS, Apple iOS, wireless technology, wireless equipment and applications)Bilingual skills are a plusAbility to achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives This is a sales role, team members in this role have sales activity goals that must be met to be successful
