We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer to be part of our exceptional Sales Operations organization. This position will start as a 12 month contract, working 40 hours per week, with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day configuration, developing customized solutions, creating custom workflows, troubleshooting errors, and maintenance and improvement of the existing applications in our CRM platform.
To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. You will work closely with the Salesforce architect, administrators, leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to help identify, develop and deploy our core sales business processes. Responsibilities We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and open to learning best practice development from the team. This role comes with the opportunity to absorb knowledge and grow as a developer.
Responsibilities:
• Develop in Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions.
• Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new application/code, and update to existing applications, code and processes.
• Provide administrative support to Salesforce Architect and administrators.
• Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), debugging, and iterative refinement.
• Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
Knowledge & Skills
• Solid Salesforce Sales knowledge, deep understanding and experience using and customizing Salesforce.
• At least 6 months of Salesforce development experience in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
• Familiar with SFDX, GitHub or other version control software, and Visual Studio Code.
• Developing solutions with best practice front of mind.
• Skills include interpreting and creating technical documentation, requirements gathering, and improvement recommendations.
• Experience acting in a self-directed/self-reliant capacity in order to “figure it out” with little direction and supervision.
• Proactive problem solver and ability to take initiative.
• Process-oriented and a strong attention to details.
• Strong curiosity, communication and analytical skills.
