Support the analytical testing for process developmentProcessing of biological samples, HPLC separation, and data analysisPreparing buffers, setting up instruments, sterilization, sampling, and cleaning of systemsDocument laboratory activities electronically and enter process data into database.Analyze data for samples and report findings to investigators.Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairsBe responsible for following safe laboratory practices and for maintaining the work area in a clean orderly and safe mannerQualificationsThe Ideal Candidate would possess:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesExperience in the analysis of therapeutic proteins using various UPLC and HPLC techniques.Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, hands-on capability, ability to learn quickly and be a self-starterThe candidate must have effective documentation skills with the ability to author internal technical reportsExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required, and experience with Empower is highly preferred.Availability to work early morning and evening hours as needed.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience3-6 month wet lab experience preferred.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime and weekends as needed.
