Job DescriptionAs an hPLM Engineer - China Representative, you will serve as the primary liaison between the global hPLM program team and Bosch China. This role involves ensuring alignment between the hPLM initiatives and local requirements, advocating for regional needs, and facilitating the seamless integration of hPLM solutions to support digital transformation in product lifecycle management across Bosch China.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program Representation: Act as the hPLM representative for Bosch China, ensuring local alignment with the global hPLM program and advocating for region-specific needs.
• Use Case Rollout: Leading the rollout activities for the sub workstreams from hPLM program in China including but not limited to: Mechanical Master(MBD), CDCM(Cross Domain Configuration Management), MBSE(Model Based System Engineering)
• Use Case Development: Engage with the local engineering stakeholders in China and develop local requirements into local use cases.
• Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Bosch China business units and the global hPLM team, fostering an understanding of hPLM processes and solutions.
• Documentation and Training: Document local adaptations and best practices, and provide training sessions for Bosch China teams on hPLM tools and methodologies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within hPLM implementations and collaborate with global teams to enhance system flexibility, adaptability, and automation in line with Bosch’s digital engineering goals.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise:
o 5+ years of experience in CAD/PLM domain
o Solid understanding of PLM concepts, with hands-on experience in PLM systems and configuration management.
o Strong experience with at least two major CAD platforms (NX, Creo, SolidWorks, SolidEdge)
o Proficiency in using CAD-specific scripting languages, such as NX Open, Creo Toolkit, or SolidWorks API, to automate repetitive tasks, custom configurations, and data transformations.
o Experience working in large-scale program environments, with the ability to manage regional requirements and coordinate with global program teams.
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication skills, fluent in both Chinese and English.
o Ability to work collaboratively in an international, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred:
• Basic knowledge of Engineering or Manufacturing processes.
• Ability to set up rules and dependencies that automate complex modeling tasks, reducing design time and improving consistency.
• Experience in integrating CAD tools with PLM platforms (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter) to customize data flow, enable seamless part and BOM management, and support collaborative design.
