HR Administrative Assistant

An HR Administrative Assistant position in Newark, NJ is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences. In this role, you will support the Human Resources department by performing a variety of clerical tasks and assisting with the onboarding process. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and providing a positive experience for new employees. This is a temp-hire position starting in February 2025. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm. The hourly range is $21.00-26.45/hr. – depending on your level of experience.
**Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:**
+ Clerical Support: Manage and maintain employee records, handle correspondence, and perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
+ Onboarding Assistance: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, scheduling training sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
+ Monitor Progress: Track new hires’ progress during the onboarding period and address any issues or concerns.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
+ Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $26.45 per hour
