Summary of Position Purpose:
To support the Company in the efficient and effective provision of HR servicesTo be a point of contact for all day-to-day HR operational issuesTo assist the HR Team Leader and HR Manager in achieving the Company’s objectivesPrimary Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue HR documentation including employment contracts, job descriptions and employee communicationsSupport the HR Team Leader with permanent recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interviews, etcLead the onboarding process for all permanent startersAssist as needed the HR Administrator with the recruitment of temporary staff, including liaison with recruiting managers and agencies, screening CVs, interviews, etcMonitor absence and late reports, supporting with informal meetings and formal absence reviewsSupporting at disciplinary and grievance hearings, ensuring accurate notetaking and coaching managers when required to ensure fairness and consistency is appliedCoordinate and organise Occupational Health referralsProvide HR advice and support to the business/employees on matters such as maternity/paternity, flexible working, absence management, disciplinary, and other HR topics.Prepare HR data and metrics with analysis and commentaryMaintain data integrity and accuracy on HRIS (Workday), time and attendance system (i-Time) and excel spreadsheetsAssist the HR Team Leader with coordinating training sessions and workshopsSupport the wellbeing committee and their activities/initiativesKeep up to date with legislation and statutory requirements, suggesting changes to HR policies and proceduresSupport the development of a culture of positive employee relationsLead and support (depending on project size) in the implementation of local initiatives and ad hoc projectsPerson Specification:
