**HR Analyst - Position Management & Headcount** **WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE, & TRAVEL** + This position will be based out of GPC Headquarters in Atlanta, GA + This position will require minimal travel (day and overnight, up to 10%) and the ability to work successfully in a remote/virtual environment **JOB SUMMARY** The primary purpose of this position is to lead headcount and position management tracking for Georgia Power Company. This detailed project manager will track budgeted headcount for the Company and act as primary contact for headcount within Georgia Power. The role will analyze and evaluate workforce metrics to improve workforce planning efforts and provide easy to understand and actionable insights about the current and future workforce for decision making. This analyst will design and deliver headcount variance reporting to be leveraged by the business up to and including management council. **FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE** + Experience navigating and tying disparate reports and sources of information together to present clear, cohesive, and useful data for Human Resources, company, and business needs. + This role will require the ability to be collaborative with multiple disciplines (internal and external) to understand trends and initiatives and be able to provide the appropriate insights + Knowledge and experience to develop customized information to drive accurate and insightful analytical output. + Strong organizational knowledge and understanding of how the organization is structured and its impact on the data, definitions, assumptions, timing, etc. + Working knowledge of the company’s human capital systems (Oracle HCM and other identified sources) as well as the MS Office suite – specifically MS Excel and Power BI. + Manage all aspects of assigned project including research, defining requirements, analysis, documentation, design/development, negotiation, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, standing and ad hoc deliverables, etc. + Interact with all levels and departments of the organization such as HR Delivery, Talent Acquisition, and Accounting Finance and Treasury. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Monthly and quarterly reporting related to headcount and position management. + Position Management – process management, consulting, reporting, and tracking. + Program and project assistance as requested including preparing data and analysis for team meetings, company presentations, Board meetings and other assigned projects **QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field required. + 4+ years of applicable experience performing statistical analysis, reporting, data collection and report generation, with an emphasis on Human Resources information tied to company financials, budgeting, and headcount related functions. + Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, drive actionable insights, and clear, compelling data-driven narratives. + Experience with company and business unit budgets preferred. + Must have strong data analytic skills + A.I experience a plus **SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE** + 5+ years of experience with databases (ie, Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft), reporting, and analysis. + Knowledge and experience developing and applying formulas to analyze, manipulate, and display trend and forecast data using Excel and Power BI, or equivalent analysis tools. + Quantitative and qualitative consulting with Human Resources and other business partners on data needs and assessments. + Self-starter with strong personal initiative. + Ability to work independently under moderate supervision. + Ability to operate effectively as a team player. + Adept at managing multiple data requests at a time. + Comfortable with detailed data evaluations and brings sound decision making. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. + Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams as needed. + Organized and a good multi-tasker, strong problem resolution skills. + Highly service and results oriented. + Designing and delivering presentations, dashboards, and updates as needed. + Discretion and confidentiality where needed. **Georgia Power** is the largest electric subsidiary of Southern Company (NYSE: SO), America's premier energy company.
