HR Assistant
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with management to support the delivery of HR services, ensuring that all HR operational issues are addressed with efficiency and accuracy. You will serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters. The HR Generalist will also play a key role in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, as well as supporting HRIS activities, payroll processing, and compliance reporting. Key Responsibilities: The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to: + Onboarding: Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring an efficient and positive experience for all new employees. + Employee Support: Provide support to employees and managers on various HR-related issues, including employee relations and policy clarifications. + Compensation and Benefits: Assist with the administration and communication of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines. + Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly payroll for all U.S. employees, handling year-end payroll-related tasks and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. + Compliance and Reporting: Assist with compliance audits and maintain required reporting, including EEOC and AAP reports. + Annual Benefits Enrollment: Support the annual benefits enrollment process, including communication and system testing. + Benefit Program Implementation: Assist with the roll-out of new benefit programs and enhancements. + Job Analysis: Support job grading and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices. + Reporting and Communication: Generate ad-hoc reports and assist with mass communications related to compensation and benefits. + Fleet Program: Manage the day-to-day operations of the company fleet program. + Additional HR Projects: Support various HR initiatives and special projects as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience. + Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Benefits Administration, payroll processing, and HRIS systems. Experience in compensation administration is a plus. + Knowledge of HR Regulations: Familiarity with federal and state HR regulations, including ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and other benefit-related regulations. + Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with advanced skills in VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and mail merge. + HRIS Experience: Experience with HRIS systems (PrismHR experience is a plus).
