HR Assistant
Job Title: HR Assistant Job Description The HR Assistant will be responsible for conducting pre-employment screenings including screening and reference checks. This role will assist with new hire onboarding and assimilation, conduct interviews for associate-level employees, report new hires to state and federal governments, process personnel actions to Payroll, and handle employment verifications. The HR Assistant will also assist with special HR projects such as salary surveys, position descriptions, and HR-related research. The role includes attending weekly meetings, monitoring the department email account, addressing employee questions, and forwarding emails to other HR team members as necessary. The standard working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 5:00 pm, depending on a 30-minute or 60-minute lunch break.
