Our client is seeking an HR Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have human resources, computer and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: HR Assistant-Compensation & Payroll**
**Location: McAllen, TX**
**Pay Range: $16.15 hourly**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Responsible for providing administrative and project support by assisting with the development and implementation of Human Resources core programs as well as interpretation of rules, regulations, policies and procedures
+ Assist the Human Resources Manager in analyzing and performing data collection for review in areas such as benefits, compensation, staffing/recruiting, HRIS, talent development and other human resources related tasks.
+ Update new hire information, job requisition/postings, changing payroll & benefits and/or performing additional human resources related tasks
+ Assist with maintenance of templates, training documents, data entry and ERP system support
+ Other duties as assigned
**What’s Needed?**
+ Associate's degree required; Associate's Degree in Human Resources, HRIS or related field preferred.
+ At least two (2) years of human resources experience, preferred.
+ Experience in a higher education institution, preferred.
+ Pass compliance items
