Altaquip services over 100 manufacturer’s brands including Craftsman, Briggs & Stratton, Toro, Caterpillar, Husqvarna, Ariens, Generac, EGO, Greenworks and MTD, to name a few.

The HR Assistant will work as a supportive and cooperative Human Resources team member providing the best potential customer service, with specific knowledge in the recruiting area of the Human Resources department.  The main responsibility of the HR Assistant is to manage the recruiting process, addressing a broad variety of issues, maintaining files, databases, and personnel action records.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintaining recruiting platform and processesCommunicating with other departments, employees, applicants, managers, and staff information.  Assistance regarding recruitment, terminations, employment, personnel records, and wage changes.Assisting in scheduling various pre-employment testing in compliance with department needsInforming applicants and hiring managers regarding various programs and procedure requirements such as pre-employment testing, time keeping, and general work expectation.Maintaining confidentiality concerning personnel actions, legal actions, terminations, and organizational plans.Providing overall assistance and research support to HR policies, programs, and procedures.

Qualifications

2-5 years of Human Resources experience, recruiting experience strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to manage several projects and tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of Microsoft Office products

Working Conditions

Duties will be performed in an office environment.Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and squatting will be requiredThe ability to move and lift up to 30 lbs. as needed is required
