Department Description:
The HR department supports the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine by by managing talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, compensation, and organizational development. We ensure compliance with policies and regulations, drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, and enhance employee engagement to create a positive and productive work environment.
Intern Project(s):
Assist with short-term projects like organizing and updating HR General files, preparing onboarding materials, and supporting recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews and updating candidate profiles. They can also help with administrative tasks, such as compiling data for reports, creating communications, and streamlining HR processes.

Essential Responsibilities:
Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
Report development and analytics.
Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
Job shadowing in other functional areas.

Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutionsWorking knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications:
3.0 GPA or above.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
