Overview We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract, working closely with the Gallagher Re UK Division. In this role, you will craft and implement effective people strategies that align with our strategic business goals. As a change agent, you will spearhead the delivery of divisional and global people initiatives, leveraging the expertise of our HR Centres of Excellence to deliver high-quality, commercially-driven solutions. You will also collaborate with the HR Director of Gallagher Re UK on diverse projects and responsibilities, advancing the strategic and tactical commercial agendas across our business units. How you'll make an impact Partnering: Support the HR Director in creating and delivering divisional people plans Collaborate with stakeholders in Gallagher Re UK to achieve strategic objectives Promote and drive engagement with HR policies, tools, and initiatives, including Learning and Development, Skills & Behaviour framework, and Employee Benefits Performance: Embed a performance culture and coach managers on Performance Improvement Plans Analyse performance data to recommend actions and facilitate performance moderation sessions Train teams on performance reviews and goal setting Talent and Resourcing: Support succession planning and career development to address talent gaps. Facilitate talent planning sessions and career conversations. Engage in talent acquisition planning and participate in senior hire assessments. Business Change: Manage and support people-related impacts from change projects Lead HR-related organizational changes and coordinate employee consultations Employee Relations: Provide advice on complex employee relations cases and prepare risk assessments Act as escalation point for complex ER cases and inform stakeholders of HR policy changes Reward: Collaborate on reward strategies and support the annual pay and bonus review process Promote total reward philosophy to enhance engagement and retention Reporting & Analytics: Utilize HRMI data to analyze and interpret people data for business benefits Culture & Engagement: Drive local engagement actions and embed the Gallagher Way across leadership teams Support the creation of an inclusive culture HR Function/Team Working: Collaborate within the "One HR" team and drive continuous improvement Represent HR in cross-functional programs and liaise with other departments Governance: Comply with AJG Professional Standards and internal policies, ensuring client-centric practices. About You Chartered MCIPD (CIPD qualification essential) Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law Desirable knowledge of financial services and regulated environments Extensive HR experience in a commercial setting Proven ability to understand business issues and deliver HR solutions Successful track record in managing change and restructuring programs Experience in handling complex relationships with coaching and feedback Skilled in tactical negotiation and influencing stakeholders Demonstrated ability to build rapport effectively Proven ability to prioritize risks and manage workload efficiently Experience with compensation and incentivization strategies Eligible to work in the UK Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
