You will be a strategic role responsible for implementing and enhancing human resource policies that align with organizational goals and improve the employee work environment. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to identify and address hidden issues that may impede the company’s success. This role involves interpreting and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs across various HR specialty areas, including employee rewards, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. You will also act as a specialist in employee acquisition and integration. 

You will have the opportunity to extend your knowledge and expertise as HR professional, leading the implementation of the transformation of the HR function in the assigned area, while ensuring the delivery of the daily HR activities. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with employees at all levels and influence organizational outcomes.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Guidance and Mentorship: Provide expert advice and mentorship to business leaders on enhancing employee productivity, retention, engagement, and relationships HR Support: Serve as a key point of contact for employees and business leaders regarding HR-related matters and queries HR Collaboration: Work closely with HR line managers and business leaders to align HR processes with strategic objectives, addressing challenges and concerns Strategic Alignment: Ensure that HR strategies and policies are integrated effectively to meet organizational needs and goals Employee Acquisition and Integration: Manage HR functions related to strategic integrations and employee acquisitions. Plan new hires’ onboarding strategies and perform new employee orientation to deliver an exceptional first-day experience Performance Management: Support leaders and employees in the performance management process and monitor employees’ participation. Provide assistance with defining SIMple goals, development goals, follow up and reporting. Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance reviews. Arrange seminars, workshops, and conferences based on each department’s needs C&B: Manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration Employee Relations: Oversee employee labor laws and regulations to maintain compliance. Ensure legal compliance by observing and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and conducting investigations. The role can imply negotiations with Unions Issue Management: Oversee employee relations metrics, diagnose issues, and address root causes to resolve challenges Continuous Improvement: Offer suggestions to resolve technical issues and optimize the company’s structure and framework Counseling and Coaching: Provide counseling, coaching, and mentorship to employees and executives to enhance performance

For This Role, You Will Need:

BS or MS or equivalent experience in Law, Labor Relations Master’s degree in HR would be desirable 6+ years experience in HR Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Spanish and English. Portuguese knowledge would be highly valuable The position requires travel, estimated at 15 % of the working year
