Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a HR Business Partner in the Government sector. You will be working under limited supervision in various functional areas of Human Resources Administration.
Responsibilities:
• Provide HR generalist or specialist services to support organizational needs
• Manage recruitment and selection processes to ensure quality hires
• Interpret HR policies and laws to ensure organizational compliance
• Recommend HR policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Coordinate employee development activities for continuous learning and growth
• Participate in labor negotiations to maintain a harmonious working environment
• Conduct workplace investigations to address and resolve issues
• Supervise staff to ensure productivity and performance
• Conduct job analysis and classification studies for accurate job grading
• Serve as a resource on complex HR issues to provide guidance and support.
Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role or similar within the government sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in Benefit Functions such as pension plans, health insurance, and other employee benefits.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with employees and management.
• Thorough understanding of Compliance requirements and regulations in the government sector.
• Proven experience in managing Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Adept at Employee Performance Management, including setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft HRIS for managing employee data, payroll, and other HR functions.
• Experience in Employee Recognition programs, including planning, implementing, and evaluating such programs.
• Ability to conduct thorough Employee Relations Investigations to resolve disputes and maintain a positive work environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HR Compliance to ensure that the organization adheres to all government regulations and standards.
