About the department
You will become a part of the People and Organisation team (P&O) in this permanent, full time position. You will report to the P&O Director for GRT, GDD and LEAD and become a part of a team of highly engaged and fantastic HR Business Partners supporting different areas in R&ED with a mission of being a proactive, trusted partner to the business. In the P&O team we support each other when we solve business challenges, foster the culture and drive results through strong collaboration.
The position
You will be the HR Business Partner to leaders at CVP level. R&ED aims to discover and develop medicines that address unmet medical needs and improve the quality of life of people living with serious chronic diseases. We help Novo Nordisk to secure a strong future pipeline by driving early research ideas all the way to first human dose. Ultimately, R&ED sets Novo Nordisk up for future clinical and commercial successes. We aim to innovate transformational treatments to modify, cure, and prevent serious chronic diseases. We focus on innovations and modalities that modify disease, change its progression and could one day even work towards a cure. We are also actively seeking strategies and solutions for prevention.
As HR Business Partner your main focus is to understand business priorities and translate strategic priorities into relevant and impactful P&O actions, which include enabling the leaders to drive:
You will collaborate with leaders, HR partner colleagues and executive functions to drive organisational efficiency and shape an inclusive employee environment rooted in our values – Novo Nordisk Way. Furthermore you will act as trusted advisor and will build solid relationships with the business and the P&O organisation, identify challenges and play an advisory role in addressing them.
Qualifications
You are a strong and pragmatic executor, who people want to work with. You are respected by stakeholders because you drive things forward and because you have a high personal integrity, which allows you to offer your perspectives in a respectful way.
Ideally, you:
Experience from working within pharma or R&D will be an advantage.
It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding and stakeholder management. You find solutions and get people to collaborate, focusing on what matters most for the end-user.
