Job Description
Responsible for managing the people operations at both a local distribution center and remote satellite locations within the region. The successful candidate will be an experienced human resource professional with experience in employee engagement.
ResponsibilitiesProvide people operation insights and guide leadership in managing their staff.Participate in coaching and accountability sessions with team members, including leadership.Provide recommendations for disciplinary actions and terminations in adherence to policy, past practices, and legal standards.Facilitate communication throughout the region and ensure that corporate initiatives or expectations are being socialized.Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, team members, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to appropriate staff.Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborating with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Adopt and execute Culture Index into talent strategy for both talent acquisition and performance management.Organize and deploy all activities surrounding employee engagement from new hire to retirement for the assigned region.Identify and report risks within the people operation, providing solution-based approaches to issues.Initiate investigations as labor-related issues arise and escalate to the next tier in a timely manner.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Perform payroll activities as required.Travel to offsite locations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.At least five years of human resource management experience required.Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, especially in an employee-facing role.Ability to present oneself in a professional, courteous manner, either by phone or email.Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and approachable.Solid computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsSHRM-CP certification is a plus.Multi-lingual skills are desired.Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position in Totowa, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
