We are currently looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team and rise to the challenge of empowering service. Position Highlights: Partners with assigned division by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resource strategies and initiatives. Builds and maintains influential relationships by being a strategic business partner with management and an advocate for employees. Provides guidance on employment law, performance management, and employee relations issues. Serves as expert on human resource policies and procedures, including leaves of absence, job descriptions, performance management, and workforce planning. Provides frequent support regarding employee relations matters. With oversight from the Division Manager, Human Resources, provides support to the Payroll and Benefits Specialist in the annual assessment and renewal of employee benefit plans. Serves as checks and balance for bi-weekly US payroll process and for monthly regional payroll processes. . What You’ll Do: + Meet regularly with assigned division leadership to understand business needs and goals and develop a partnership for success. + Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and foster engagement and retention. + Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements relevant to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the Legal department or outside counsel as necessary. + Provide counsel to managers and employees regarding performance management, including Performance Improvement and Corrective Action, for assigned divisions. + Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations as appropriate to field. + Collaborate with and offer guidance to Division Managers on workforce and succession planning, as well as business unit restructuring and related staffing needs and challenges. + Work with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure shared understanding of workforce planning needs for assigned divisions. + Work with managers to develop new and revise existing job descriptions. + Contribute to the development of policies, programs and solutions. Ensure a cohesive HR presence aligned with the organization’s mission and organizational objectives. + Collaborate with Division Manager, Human Resources, as needed, on annual budget planning and labor forecasting processes. + Research, analyze data, and prepare reports on HR best practices that drive strong employee development, that add value, and that result in a competitive advantage for the organization. + Assist in employee benefit plan design and administration, including medical and related and 401(k). + Provide support for payroll processes, systems, and administration. + Design and administer organization wide and individual learning and development programs. We’re Looking for Someone With: + Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Human Resources or a related field. + 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist or similar role. + Strong knowledge of payroll practices and regulations, particularly in a multi-state environment. Familiarity with Paylocity is a plus. + 5+ years of experience managing employee benefit programs, including health & welfare and retirement plans. + Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred. + Some domestic or international travel may be required, less than 5%.
