The HR Business Partner (HRBP) role supports our Extreme Events Solutions business.  This role implements a robust talent agenda supporting these client groups in achieving commercial objectives. A hybrid role that straddles HR and the business, the HRBP is fluent in the strategies of both areas, and integrates these strategies to optimize retention, culture, diversity and inclusion, talent attraction, development, and engagement.  This role is based out of our Boston, MA office which has a flexible hybrid work model with 2 days per week in-office.

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experienceFive years of corporate HRBP experienceSolid practical knowledge of talent management disciplines, such as: performance management, succession planning, talent planning, competency development, compensation, and analyticsExperience leading a business through changeDemonstrated business acumen and savvyAbility to manage competing, high-priority demands, prioritize workloads, and manage projects against strict deadlinesStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsSuperior oral and written communication skills; ability to establish credibility/rapportStrong analytical skillsStrong PowerPoint and ExcelExperience with Oracle a plus

Provide guidance and direction to managers and employees on core HR processes including employee relations, performance management and calibration, talent acquisition, and engagementCreate and maintain competitive benchmarking databases and perform preliminary analysesAdvise/coach managers and employees on challenging situations such as low team or personal engagement, interpersonal conflict, or performance plansLead career planning, career pathing, leveling, and promotion processesGuide managers and employees in objective setting and career conversationsUse data from employee engagement survey to set a targeted culture agenda that improves scores year-over-yearMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with legal and employee relations to lead objective investigationsManage organizational changes and restructures; maintain the workforce plan and collaborate with finance to track hiring.Provide input to succession planningParticipate in projects with HR Centers of Excellence and Oracle, with a focus on change management implementationTrack, analyze, and synthesize all talent related data (i.e., hiring, attrition, retention) and make recommendations to improve business performance
