The HR Business Partner holds responsibility for the delivery of the end-to-end Human Resources agenda for assigned departments and functions at the site, including: coaching, training, recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance and reward management. Performs role as a strategic business partner with production and functional teams. Will drive strategic and tactical HR projects. Implements and maintains the procedures and programs for site employees in the areas of employment, compensation, communications, employee relations, job evaluations and position descriptions. This role will be onsite in our Holdrege plant Monday-Friday. Due to the nature of the job, after hour work may occasionally be required. Essential functions include but are not limited to: + Responsible to work closely with Holdrege management and Team Leaders to foster an environment of trust, respect, and accountability. + Partner closely with assigned departments to measure and continually improve team effectiveness and motivation, people management practices and processes. + Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to team leaders and/or managers with regards to employee relations issues including performance reviews, EEO guidelines, corrective action, terminations, reviewing complaints, conducting investigations and recommending solutions. + Interpret, clarify, and develop policies and procedures. Provide expert advice and guidance to management. + Investigate complaints of harassment, discrimination, and other policy violations. + Drive annual activity for functional areas e.g. Performance Management Process (PMP), Annual Compensation process. + Manage HR project activity as assigned e.g. HR Transformation Activity, Associate Engagement, Policy review and formulation etc. + Project manage talent initiatives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning and employee development. + Coach leaders to build an engaged workforce and inclusive culture, including analyzing employee engagement survey findings, supporting delivery of action plans, and implementing engagement programs. + Formulate and deliver training programs, including Leadership and manager development. Maintain a training and development plan through training needs analysis, individual training & development plans, and consultation with management. + Analyze metrics and provide weekly/monthly reports across the key HR KPIs to site leadership. + Review and implement process changes and efficiencies across a variety of HR processes. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior HR Manager and required to support the needs of the business. **Basic Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree with major in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. + 5+ years HR experience with at least 3 years' operating in a challenging position at HR Business Partner level, and/or Site Leader level. + HRBP experience with performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting. + Experience in manufacturing/industrial setting. + Knowledge of policies, practices and principles of employment law, EEO and AAP regulations. + Comply with local, state, federal and embecta safety regulations, policies, and procedures. **Preferred Requirements:** + Preferred Human Resources Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, etc.) + Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasive, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. + Effective skills in the areas of counseling/coaching/influencing and conflict management. + Pro-active approach to defining solutions to meet business needs. + Ability to operate in a collaborative way with all levels across the business on a basis of trust and respect. + Strategic, proactive and forward thinker, able to analyze issues, propose and implement solutions utilizing a change management process. + Ability to manage multiple projects in a busy environment. + Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and establish effective work relationships at all levels of the organization. **SUPVERISION** HR Coordinator reports to this role. embecta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.  We do not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, marital or domestic or civil union status, familial status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, disability, military eligibility or veteran status, or any other protected status.
