Reporting to the Lead HR Manager for Ireland, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive Human Resource services in a fast-paced team.

Implement enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.Provide guidance and support to People Managers on the full range of activities in the HR portfolio, including but not limited to; performance and talent management, change management, organisational effectiveness, skills and competence development, learning, total rewards including year-end process, and colleague engagement.With the support of the Employee Relations Centre of Expertise, support on employee relations matters including investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals etc.Working with our Global Centre’s of Expertise to ensure consistency of service.Leave, absence and related topics including coordinating with HR Services Team for return-to-work accommodations and logistics.Provide support to our People Leader, Lead HR Manager and global People Partners who may be developing strategic solutions to support workforce planning, succession or performance management.Inclusion and diversity awareness and considerations.Support and from time to time, take responsibility for coordinating the rollout and delivery of HR programs and contribute to process improvements.What you will need to have:
Client management skills and effective communications/change management skills.Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with shifting priorities.Strong analytical skills and numeracy.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Pragmatic with sound common sense.Attention to detail with high personal work standards.Ability to collaborate and work stakeholders across our company.Thorough understanding of Irish Employment Law and Regulations.Experience in supporting managers with employee relations case management including investigations.Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative, discretion, and tact.Demonstrated ability to effectively coach managers at most levels in the business through all aspects of the employee life cycle including in more complex situations.Experience of successfully supporting project/initiative implementation across a population of managers recognizing the broader business objectives.Solid technical skills – Strong proficiency with the MS Office Suite and enthusiasm for learning new skills as needed.What makes you stand out:
CIPD qualified with 4-5 years’ experience as a HR Business PartnerIt would be preferable that the successful candidate have experience in the professional/ financial services sector, or experience in a regulated companyExperience across the range of HR disciplines with a knowledge of employee relations and relevant Irish legislationExposure to themes related to employee relations, talent management and total rewardsExperience with practical delivery of HR solutions to critical business issuesWell-established planning and organizational skills; able to multi-taskBachelors’ degreeFamiliarity with Workday or similar systemsHR related certificationsAbout Marsh McLennan
