As a change agent, this role focuses on improving organizational effectiveness and performance by using analytics and data while performing as an administrative expert and being an advocate for teammates at all levels.

The role provides strong partnership in talent acquisition activities, leading change, supporting organizational development, performance guidance, policy interpretation, day to day leadership coaching, culture development, talent development and guidance, and employee relations activities.

Identify, assess, and provide recommendations on appropriate HR interventions to include conflict resolution, progressive discipline, and health and safety management and workers compensation.

The Impact You Will Have:

Provide day-to-day Human Resources support to front line and senior level leaders and teammates.Prepares documentation and performs activities related to teammate onboarding, promotions, performance review tracking, internal transfers, and other teammate changes.Analyze trends and metrics to assist in the development of solutions, programs, and policies.Assess and identify process or procedure opportunities and prepare recommendations for improvementPerforms the full recruitment cycle including review of job descriptions, creating and posting jobs internally and externally, completing phone and in-person interviews, regularly communicating with hiring managers and search providers regarding the status of open positions.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Provides performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Assist with the administration of teammate benefits, compensation, performance appraisal programs, personnel record keeping, training, and unemployment claim management.Assist with preparing materials for delivering and conducting teammate communication meetings.Provide counsel, guidance and coaching to the Leadership Team on adherence to company policies and procedures as well as compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Champion and participate in Employee Engagement activities and initiatives.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of teammates, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance. Partner with legal department or outside counsel as needed/required.Serve as a vital link between local operations, functional and corporate teams.Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives and programs and facilitate a safe and healthy culture.Lead or participate in projects that may cross functions, divisions, and facilities.Assist teammates with FML and Leave management.Facilitate the site’s attendance program.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Human Resources or similar discipline highly preferred.Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Partner/Generalist/related business role required.Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate required.Minimum of 3 years related experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environmentStrong HR acumen required: knowledge of HR processes and working knowledge of most HR disciplines.Ability to build relationships and trust with strong skills in coaching and mentoring.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious for answers, uses data to make decisions.Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills – can bring others together and reconcile differences.Highly adept at managing shifting priorities.Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices, including OSHA required.Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment – including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. Experience with an HRIS.Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.Exceptional communication skills.Good interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, build long-lasting relationships - influence at all levels.Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.Excellent organizational skills and time management skills; multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high-level goals; managing multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to perform in a fast-paced environmentAble to work a flexible schedule as needed to support the Operations Team
