Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and organized Human Resources Clerk to support our HR department. The ideal candidate will handle various administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of HR processes and contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update employee records with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions. Handle employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters. Assist in the administration of employee benefits and payroll. Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts and policy updates. Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Human Resources or related field is a plus. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is a plus.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.43 - $24.41 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
