Thales Italia is currently looking for a Compensation & Benefit and Administration & Payroll Intern to join us for 6 months.
In this position, you will learn how to manage all Compensation & Benefits and Admin & Payroll operations to support our HR department. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with both HR Compensation & Benefit and Administration & Payroll while developing analytical expertise to support strategic HR decisions.
As part of the HR team, you will actively participate in international projects and even take responsibility for smaller projects yourself.
ACTIVITIES
Apply HR Analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and define and execute appropriate actions.Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes.Support driving recognition and reward programs for individuals and teams linked to the business priorities and C&B guidelines.Participate in Total Rewards projects (e.g. commissions, salary increases, company car policy review)Assist with the first mapping of benefits and research benefit best cost optionsSupport the data cleaning process in the administrative database, ensuring the consistency of the information;Recording of attendance and preparation of documentation justifying absences, insertion of absence justifications and reconciliation of attendance in the time management system and related end-of-month consolidation for subsequent sending to the pay slip.Furthermore, the intern will have to acquire knowledge relating to the optical archiving of historical documentation of the current physical personal files of both employees already employed by the company and new hires, cataloging and differentiating, due to their homogeneous nature, the related documentation for subsequent uploading into the electronic archive.Collaborating with the HR team for various HR activitiesREQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and backgroundBachelor's or Master's degree student in economics, HR, business psychology or comparable subjectsFluency in Italian and English· Required skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills;Analytical & problem-solving skills;High interest in Human Resource ManagementProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in ExcelExperience with Human Resources data analytics or compensation will be considered a plusFluent Italian and English;At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
