The HR Compensation Data Analyst is responsible for assisting with executing all activities associated with compensation management. This role assists with salary survey participation and analyzing data from survey sources to make recommendations to ensure Cleco’s competitiveness both internally and externally. This role assists in compensation programs administration. Utilizes data results to make recommendations and/or identify trends based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), market information, or business strategy. Maintains the highest level of integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee documentation.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Collects, analyzes, and compiles data and statistics from the human content management system and compensation sources to assist with the market benchmarking process and all activities related to analysis of market trends.
+ Participate in market competitive pay position analysis to ensure pay structure and compensation programs meet overall company goals and objectives.
+ Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for the Executive Compensation section of annual proxy.
+ Prepare reports of data results to be presented to internal/external audit, management, and/or senior leadership.
+ Assist with compensation related configurations in Cleco’s HCM system.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education, Skills & Experience**
+ BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Analytics, or related field
+ Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
+ Willingness to take action on quick prioritization and meeting commitments in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
+ Maintains a high level of discretion with confidential material and embraces a higher standard when handling employee information and disseminating sensitive data.
+ Adopts a helpful and forward-thinking approach to problem solving to find logical solutions when presented with challenges
+ Experience with HCM/Compensation system a plus
