HR Consultant
Description We are with a family-owned business client who is in search of an experienced HR Consultant to valuate HR functions that support the growing organizational needs. The company is located in Maple Grove, Minnesota, 55311. In this role, the consultant will be working within the environmental services industry, conducting comprehensive evaluations of our human resources functions and their interconnections within all areas of the organization. Will be instrumental in aligning our HR structure with our business growth and strategies, ensuring we are prepared for both current and future needs. The work model is onsite and open to part-time and full-time hours. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed assessments of HR operations and functions • Review and evaluate our Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures • Assess and provide recommendations for our compensation plan • Review Benefit Administration • Recruitment and onboarding initiatives • Ensure HR compliance across all operations • Collaborate closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals • Handle payroll processing tasks • Utilize ADP for payroll and other HR-related tasks • Use your comprehensive knowledge of Benefit Functions, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Onboarding to enhance our HR practices Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a HR Consultant role or similar capacity • Proficient in Benefit Functions, with a focus on employee benefits planning, analysis, and design • Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and effective interaction with all levels of the organization • Knowledge and understanding of HR Compliance requirements and laws • Demonstrated skills in handling Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement • Experience with ADP Workforce Now software for HR management • Ability to Conduct Assessments for employee performance and talent management • Experience in Compensation Analysis to ensure pay equity and competitive compensation packages • May assist in ADP - Payroll for accurate and timely payroll processing • Expertise in Onboarding new employees, ensuring smooth transition and integration into the company • Experience in creating and updating Employee Handbook, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for employees Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
