Description
Robert Half is working with a local, well-established organization on the growth of their HR department by adding an HR Coordinator to their team. The Human Resources Coordinator's role involves providing administrative support to the HR department. This includes aspects like recruitment assistance, guiding the onboarding and offboarding processes of employees, administering benefits, responding to employee inquiries, and assisting in event organization. Effective written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to handle confidential information with discretion are crucial for this role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Assist in creating and listing job openings on multiple platforms.
+ Schedule interviews between candidates and the recruiting manager.
+ Assist in all facets of the onboarding process: processing new hires, leading orientations, and formalizing benefits.
+ Maintain regular communication with potential recruits during their onboarding process.
+ Prepare and maintain HR documentation regarding new hires, promotions, salary increments, and terminations.
+ Collaborate with the technical team to manage process setups, configuration updates, and workflows.
+ Store and manage all HR files and documents following relevant procedures and laws.
+ Handle employee verifications, insurance claims, and vehicle checks.
+ Administer benefit enrollments for new hires, life events, and terminations to ensure punctual and accurate processing.
+ Manage leave benefits.
+ Compile and submit necessary reports to governmental agencies as required.
+ Process temporary employee timecards and manage HR invoice processes.
+ Provide support for HR initiatives and trainings.
+ Organize and manage company events and celebrations.
Requirements
Requirements:
+ A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
+ At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
+ Proficiency in HR software (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
+ Basic knowledge of HR practices and relevant employment laws is a plus.
