Join our team as a Human Resource Coordinator and be the backbone of our HR operations. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our processes run smoothly, including HR functions such as people analytics and reporting, HRIS integrity, supporting efficiency in payroll, learning and development, employee recognition and more. If you love creating order out of chaos and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!  

This role is a hybrid opportunity based out of our beautiful new Head Office in Chilliwack, BC. 

A day in the life – 

Generate, analyze, and creatively showcase your understanding of people data. 

Recommend process improvements. 

Administer and track education, training, and professional development related courses, funds, and agreements. 

Maintain trackers such as employee bonuses, temporary contracts, and work permits. 

Compile, review and provide accurate payroll data to the Canadian Payroll team. 

Manage and audit Time and Attendance to proactively address anomalies. 

Follow-up with Managers on Workday entries that impact payroll. 

Act as liaison between employees and the Canadian Payroll team. 

Creatively contribute to HUB Canada West’s Employee Recognition Newsletters. 

Ad hoc HR projects and team functions as required. 

What you bring to the team –  

Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred. 

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative capacity, Human Resources experience preferred but not required. 

Proficient skill level in the Microsoft Suite; Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Forms. 

Well-developed logical, analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy. 

Able to “think outside of the box” and make innovative recommendations to improve efficiency and enhance processes. 

Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively deal with sensitive information. 

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure in high demand situations. 

Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization. 

 

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
